Xebro requires a one time setup, for connection to the RF radio, Internet and Zello configuration.
Xebro requires a one time setup, for connection to the RF radio, Internet and Zello configuration.
The RF radio requires configuration for Audio and Control pins.
It is highly recommended that RF Radio is configured before any connections to Xebro to prevent the damage of either devices
When the RF radio is configured, Connect the Xello using the supplied cable.
Xebro requires Wifi access for Zello Communications, the Wifi and Xebro channel settings are configured from a webpage served by Xebro.
Xebro will always try and connect to the Network using the configured Wifi setting when powered up. If no connection is within 10 second, Xebro becomes an Wifi Access Point, if no Wifi connection is made to Xebro within then next 50 second the sequence is repeated. Xebro can be logged into from either connection.
When Xebro is connected to the Wifi, the IP address is required to connect to the webpages served by Xebro.
The Xebro has host Name of Xebro_<username> to help find the device, however not all LAN scanners show this information.
Xebro implements the cross-platform network discovery mNDS (apple bonjour). This can be used to find the device and then connect to Xebro's Web Pages. The Webpages can be accessed from the IP address, or by using the mDNS device name with .local after it. The mDNS name is xebro_<zello_username>. For example, if your zello username is johndoe then you can access the webpages with the url: xebro_johndoe.local
The following free apps are available from the platforms app stores that can be used to fine the IP address and/or the mDNS device name.
The device must be on the same network, so if you are using a Wifi Dongle for example the browser device will also need to be connected to that wifi dongle.
Flame Services Browser - then select xebro_ in the list of services.
mDNS Discovery - type in "xebro" in service type and click "search"
All my LAN - select "mDNS devices" and select xebro._tcp.local from the list of services.
Open a Browser and enter the IP address (or <mDNSname>.local) in the URL bar.
The Xebro Login Page will appear.
If no wifi connection is available, Xebro itself become an Access Point.
Connect to Wifi SSID: "XEBRO1831"
The Password is "Marty1234"
On an Android Phone you may see a popup "XEBRO1831 has no Internet access | Tap for option".
Tap on the popup....
Agree to "Stay connected?" by clicking "Yes"
The IP address of the webpage is 192.168.18.31
Open a Browser and enter the IP address in the URL bar.
The Xebro Login Page will appear.
At the Xebro Login Page, enter the Username and Password and click Login

The Settings Page allowed you to enter the Wifi details for your Internet Connection and Zelllo Account Information
The 'Set' buttons store the information into the Xebro, but do not take effect until the unit is Rebooted. (note, if ZelloWork is requried, 'Set' must be clicked after enabling the ZelloWork checkbox to enable entry of the network).
If the Wifi Settings are updated, when the device is Rebooted, it will move on the new network. If the Settings page is required on the new network, then the WebBrower will also need to have access to this network. (see Wifi Network above).
Once the unit is connected to the Internet, the status can be used to check connection and basic statistics.
Update Firmware must only be used when connected to the Internet, It will fail if used in Access Point mode.
